Beliefs
- One of the main belief that Buddhist belief is reincarnation, the idea of people being reborned after death. This could be considered as a cycle of birth, living, death and rebirth. Although when they master theirselves from the attachment of desire and following Buddha's practices for peace and free from suffering, they are able to achieve Nirvana. There are Three Trainings or Practices in which Buddhist follow.
- Sillia: Based on two fundamental principles. the Principle of equality: All living things are equal; and the Principle of reciprocity: "The Golden Rule of Buddhism"
- Samadhi: The development of the person's mind in which lead to personal freedom. The mental development.
- Prajna: The heart of Buddhism. Where wisdom is connected with your mind if your are pure and calm.
Morality
- In comparison, Buddhism is quite different from other religions because it is not based on worshiping or devoting of a God or multiple Gods but rather a set of guidelines for one’s morality. In which, creates peace and happiness in life and reaching enlightenment.
- Buddhism The way Buddhist view moral behaviour is through mastering the compassion for every living creature. This showed through the Five Precepts, the basic rules that define or tells us what is a right and wrong. In Buddha’s view, was that all life is precious and should be respected. In this case, most Buddhist follows this precept by being vegetarian.

Buddha's Teachings
- Anyone can become a Buddhist and the way it is thought is by the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path and the Five Precepts. All of these things are showed through one’s actions, mind, discipline, karma and speech.
- The two main goals of being a Buddhist is have complete knowledge of ourselves and learning Buddha’s way of life, his teachings. It is known that everyone has two natures about their selves; Ordinary Nature and Buddha Nature, called in Buddhism. Ordinary Natures is made up of displeasing feelings such as jealousy, anger, and fear. However, Buddha Nature is the nature in which part of us are pure, wise and perfect. The Buddha has mastered this for his to reach enlightenment and to release all of the pain and suffering in humanity’s life. That is what separates us from Buddha.
- When Siddhartha, the Buddha has reached enlightenment, he has discovered the Three Great Truths.
- Nothing is lost in the Universe
- Everything Changes
- Law of Cause and Effect
- As time went on, Buddha knew that following his teaching would be difficult to follow, so he made the Three Refuges or the Triple Jewel for people to rely on. This would be considered as the first step on the path to enlightenment.

- The Dharma is the path
- The Sangha are the teachers or companions along the way
